Itinerary
Day 1
From a morning pickup in your local area we travel by coach to Llandudno where we spend time at leisure. Llandudno is famed for its golden beach flanked by two headlands, the Great and Little Ormes. From the Victorian Llandudno pier, to the Victoria shopping centre, there is plenty to do here. Later we check in to our hotel in the resort.
Day 2
We head to Llanberis for the highlight of our trip, a journey on the Snowdon Mountain Railway. This delightful rack railway journey has been operating since 1896, thrilling passengers with the incredible sight of the Ceunant Mawr waterfall cascading into the gorge below and the breathtaking vistas over the sheer edge of Rocky Valley. We climb up to Clogwyn Station, ¾ of the way up Mount Snowdon, to enjoy views from the highest mountain in Wales and England.
We then enjoy some free time in the picturesque village of Betws-y-Coed, known as the Gateway to Snowdonia National Park and where the backdrop of coniferous forests has earned this area the name ‘Little Switzerland’.
Day 3
After checking out of our hotel, we spend some more time at leisure in Llandudno to complete this wonder, before we make our way home in the early afternoon.
