Newport (half day)
For our included half-day excursion we enjoy a visit to the bustling capital of the island, Newport. This picturesque town centres on two squares surrounded by elegant Georgian and Victorian architecture. Explore the historic quayside or browse the selection of speciality shops here.
Optional Excursion
Island Highlights tour – £15pp (full day)
There’s also the chance to join an optional Island Highlights tour, taking in many of the island’s sights including the seaside resort of Ryde, Cowes – home of the famous yachting regatta, the historic port town of Yarmouth, Alum Bay’s colourful sands, rocky outcrop ‘The Needles’ and the pretty resort of Ventnor.

Selected Hotel
We’ll stay at one of two well-appointed hotels on the Isle of Wight. The hotels offer en-suite rooms with tea and coffee-making facilities as well as a pleasant bar and restaurant.
The friendly, family-run Holliers Hotel is a charming coaching inn situated in the heart of the picturesque Old Village of Shanklin. (JG2 rating)
The family-run Royal Pier Hotel is situated on the seafront in the resort of Sandown, facing one of the most popular beaches on the island. The hotel has an indoor heated pool and spa pool. (JG2+ rating)
Please note: the Holliers Hotel has no lift or ground floor rooms and is therefore unsuitable for those with limited mobility.
