For our included half-day excursion we visit the bustling capital of the island, Newport. This picturesque town centres on two squares surrounded by elegant Georgian and Victorian architecture. Explore the historic quayside or browse the selection of speciality shops here.
Optional Excursion
Island Highlights tour – £13pp (full day)
There’s also the chance to join an optional Island Highlights tour, taking in many of the island’s sights including the seaside resort of Ryde, Cowes – home of the famous yachting regatta, the historic port town of Yarmouth, Alum Bay’s colourful sands, rocky outcrop ‘The Needles’ and the pretty resort of Ventnor.

The friendly, family-run Holliers Hotel is a 17th-century coaching inn situated in the heart of the picturesque Old Village of Shanklin. Hotel facilities include a bar and restaurant, and dinners are carvery style.
Please note: the Holliers Hotel has no lift or ground floor rooms and is therefore unsuitable for those with limited mobility.
