From our base in the charming town of Folkestone, we explore one of the most renowned and important cathedral cities in Britain, Canterbury. From the picturesque timber-framed buildings to the glorious stained glass windows of the cathedral, this dynamic city’s history is on display everywhere you look. There’s also the opportunity to visit the historic towns of Rochester and Chatham to complete this fantastic weekend break.

Included Excursion
Canterbury (half day)
Our excursion sees us spend half a day in the beautiful city of Canterbury, with its quaint cobbled lanes, timber-framed buildings and medieval city walls. It is also the home to the oldest cathedral in England, dating back to Norman times.
Optional Excursion
Rochester & Chatham – £8pp (half day)
For our second included excursion we travel to the delightful port town of Chatham, which has an extensive naval history and several fascinating landmarks such as its Grade II listed Town Hall. We then continue on to Rochester,renowned for its impressive cathedral and for serving as an inspiration to Charles Dickens who lived nearby.
