Coach Itinerary
Day 1
From a morning pickup in your local area we travel by coach to our hotel.
Day 2
We travel to Bury where we board our train behind the magnificent locomotive, the Flying Scotsman for a picturesque steam-hauled round trip journey on the East Lancashire Railway. With a journey time of approximately 75 minutes, we travel to the charming town of Rawtenstall through beautiful rural panoramas and picture-postcard villages, passing over viaducts and through tunnels before arriving back in Bury. Here we enjoy admission to the Bury Transport Museum where we can discover the story of the North West’s industrial past through their impressive collection artefacts, vehicles and exhibits. We can also use this time to enjoy unlimited journeys on other East Lancashire Railway or visit the famed Bury Market. Afterwards we check in at our hotel in time for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.
Day 3
Following breakfast at the hotel, we head to Liverpool, where we enjoy time at leisure. Once an industrial powerhouse, Liverpool is thriving again today – with a glorious maritime history, rejuvenated dockside and a bustling city centre. There is plenty to see here, from the iconic Liver Building to the locations frequented by The Beatles, such as the Cavern Club. In the early afternoon we continue our journey home.Coach Bullets
