Christmas on the Isle of Wight
Treat yourself to a memorable festive getaway this year, with plenty of food, entertainment and excursions to soak up all the seasonal charm the island has to offer. The Isle of Wight has been a popular seaside destination since Queen Victoria chose to spend her family holidays here in the 19th century, and with its elegant resort towns and miles of unspoilt coastline, it’s the perfect place to enjoy the big day.

Itinerary
23rd December - Arrival
After joining the coach, we make our way to our hotel and check in.
Christmas Eve - Island Highlights Tour
Our fantastic Island Highlights tour takes in this unique island’s many famous sights. After Ventnor, a pretty resort built on a series of terraces, we make for Alum Bay. Here we can admire the multi-coloured cliffs and famous chalky outcrop The Needles. We continue to Newport, regarded as the capital of the Isle of Wight, with a historic quayside and selection of speciality shops.
Christmas Day - Christmas Celebrations
Christmas Day is a wonderful day of leisure at our hotel where we indulge in a Christmas lunch with all the trimmings, followed by a light buffet served in the evening.
Boxing Day - Ryde & Pantomime
For today’s half-day excursion, we spend some time at leisure in Ryde with its long stretch of golden sand, pretty esplanade, marina and beautiful gardens. Take a stroll along the famous 19th-century pier, the oldest in England, or admire the many boats moored in the town’s busy harbour. We return to Shanklin in the afternoon for our fun-filled pantomime performance, followed by dinner at the hotel.
27th December - Return Home
After breakfast, we check out of our hotel and head for home.
