22nd December
Ferry to Calais and overnight stay in Germany.
23rd December
Continue on to our hotel on the outskirts of Prague, arriving in time for dinner.
Christmas Eve – Guided city tour of Prague
Today we enjoy a guided city tour of Prague, where highlights include the Old Town Square, famous for its ancient buildings such as the Old Town Hall with its Astronomical Clock that has been keeping time since 1410. We also enjoy an included lunch at a local restaurant and a four-course Christmas dinner at the hotel in the evening.
Christmas Day
We enjoy a relaxing day in Prague which includes Christmas Day lunch and dinner at a local restaurant.
Boxing Day – Prague Castle
We start the morning with a guided tour of Prague Castle sat imposingly above the city. Dating back to the 9th century, it is the largest castle complex in the world and is made up of a number of magnificent buildings including palaces, churches, gardens and defence towers. After our tour we enjoy lunch in the castle area.
This evening we take a special dinner cruise with live music on the River Vltava.
27th December – KutnáHora
We venture to Kutná Hora, a city east of Prague well known for the Gothic St Barbara’s Church. This evening we enjoy dinner together at the hotel.
28th December
Today we travel to our overnight hotel in Germany, via Nuremberg, a city in Northern Bavaria with impressive medieval architecture. On our last evening we enjoy a light meal at the hotel.
29th December
Continue on to Calais for our return ferry home.
