Description
Climb aboard the Severn Valley Steam Railway for a magical journey in great company, with mince pies, mulled wine, a brass band and even Santa on the platform with a gift for everyone! Enjoy the spectacular scenery as we travel on the heritage Severn Valley Steam Railway from Kidderminster to Highley, with free time in Bridgnorth. We also visit bustling Birmingham, so we can fill our shopping bags with seasonal gifts and food treats at the Christmas Market, to complete this festive two-day break.
Coach Itinerary
Day 1
From a morning pickup in your local area, we travel by coach to the hotel, stopping en route to visit Birmingham Christmas Market for an afternoon of seasonal shopping, with time to have dinner (not included) Afterwards, we head to our hotel for a relaxing overnight stay.
Day 2
We depart the hotel after breakfast and travel to Kidderminster to board the train for our 90-minute journey to Highley on the Severn Valley Railway. Embrace the Christmas spirit, with a host of festive fun to enjoy on the platform, including a brass band and carol singing! We also spend time in the lovely town of Bridgnorth on the River Severn and spend some free time to explore its charming streets before continuing our journey home.
