Take the chance to visit lovely Murcia, home to an impressive cathedral and several beautiful historic buildings with colourful plazas nestling in between its narrow streets. The city is divided by the Segura River, spanned with bridges of different styles; the oldest being Puente de los Peligros, an 18th-century stone bridge.

Today we spend some free time at leisure to relax and enjoy the resort.

For our half-day excursion, we venture inland to the beautiful village of Guadalest, one of the most popular destinations on the Costa Blanca. Curiously perched on top of a rock high in the mountains, this small village boasts spectacular views over the valley and the many other mountains in the area. Later we celebrate the arrival of the new year with a gala dinner at the hotel.
