Today, we spend time in Stratford-upon-Avon, the idyllic birthplace of William Shakespeare. There’s plenty to see, with many picturesque, thatched cottages and timbered frame houses throughout the town. Walk in the bard’s footsteps and see his birthplace or pay your respects at his final resting place at Holy Trinity Church.

Market Bosworth

After breakfast, we check out of the hotel and head to the pretty town of Market Bosworth, In the afternoon we rejoin the coach for our journey home.

Set in 11 acres of landscaped gardens, this 17^th-century mansion still boasts original features including an oak-panelled main hall with a Tudor stone fireplace.
