Itinerary
Day 1
From a morning pickup in your local area we travel by coach to our hotel, arriving in time for dinner.
Day 2
We head first to the elegant spa town of Buxton, located on the edge of the spectacular Peak District National Park. This lovely town is renowned for its Georgian and Victorian architecture and stunning ornamental gardens and is home to plenty of independent shops, tea rooms and cafés.
Afterwards we continue on to the beautiful market town of Bakewell, set on the banks of the River Wye in the heart of the Peak District National Park. Probably best known for its Bakewell Pudding, the town boasts an ancient five arched bridge, riverside walks, independent shops and cafés.
Day 3
After breakfast, we check out of the hotel and head to Chatsworth House. Still home to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire, this magnificent stately home boasts grandiose interiors, a wonderful art collection and 100 acres of garden which include the famous 300-year-old Cascade and enormous Emperor Fountain. Later, we rejoin the coach for our journey home.
