Itinerary

Barnsdale Gardens (half day)

We visit Barnsdale Gardens in Oakham, designed by the late Geoff Hamilton, who was known to television viewers across the UK as a presenter on Gardeners World. Be inspired and see the many themed gardens on display, which include a rose garden, Japanese garden, knot garden, kitchen garden, and the Winter Border, with over 9000 hand-planted snowdrops. There is also a plant nursery where you can purchase horticultural delights and a tearoom. The main event of the day is a guided tour with Nick Hamilton (son of the late former Gardener’s World presenter).
