Join us as we set off to The Diamond Isle of Wight for a Turkey and Tinsel tour at the Royal Pier Hotel in Sandown. Here we can enjoy excursions including a 'Round the Island' tour, as well as excursions to Ryde and Shanklin Old Village.

Full Day: Round the Island Tour
Today we tour the Diamond Isle of Wight as we visit all of the historic landmarks and popular destinations dotted around the area.
Half Day: Ryde
Today we visit Ryde, a coastal town known for its glorious, spacious beaches.
Half Day: Shanklin Old Village
Off we go to Shanklin Old Village, a charming and picturesque area known for its thatched cottages, quaint shops, and delightful tea rooms. This historic part of Shanklin exudes traditional English village charm with its narrow streets lined with period architecture and blooming gardens.

Turkey & Tinsel Programme
MONDAY: It’s Christmas Eve – From local departure points relax, get to know your fellow holidaymakers, and enjoy the comfortable coach journey to the venue of your choice. Before dinner you are invited to a welcome reception with your hosts and, after dinner, relax in the bar or lounge and enjoy a drink with your new-found friends.
TUESDAY: It’s Christmas Day – Start this ‘Christmas’ day with a leisurely breakfast then sit back and enjoy a full day excursion before returning for one of the highlights of the week... a full ‘Christmas’ dinner with all the festive trimmings and a visit from Santa! After dinner enjoy a night of festive entertainment.
WEDNESDAY: It’s Boxing Day – After breakfast, board your coach for a full day sightseeing excursion before returning to the hotel. In the evening look forward to a Boxing Day dinner followed by festive entertainment.
THURSDAY: It’s New Year’s Eve – After breakfast, board your coach for a leisurely half day sightseeing excursion before returning to the hotel. In the evening look forward to a special New Year’s Eve dinner followed by entertainment to see in the ‘New Year’!
FRIDAY: Fond Farewells – After breakfast it’s time to make our way home.
This is a sample Turkey and Tinsel itinerary and some programmes will vary and in some instances, meals will be buffet style.
Pick-Up Information
We have introduced improvements to our network of local pick up points across eastern, central and southern England, aimed at shortening your journey times and getting you away on holiday more easily and conveniently, meaning an altogether more relaxing start. We now have two pick up regions so your travel days will be more convenient, providing more efficient journeys, meeting your tour manager and fellow travellers earlier and in most cases arriving in resort earlier.
The Tour Ref on the holiday tab indicates whether the tour departs from Area A or Area B by having either an A or B at the end. For example, GUK5A would be a tour departing from Area A.
Traveling from Departure Area A: Our new and improved network means for all UK and Ireland holidays you join your tour coach at our interchange area at Northampton Services on the M1, at junction 15A.
Travelling from Departure Area B: Our new and improved network means for all UK and Ireland holidays you join your tour coach at our interchange area at Beaconsfield Services on the M40, at junction 2.
