Turkey and Tinsel holidays to Torquay offer lots of fun, fayre and festive entertainment with three excursions included to Exeter, Dartmouth and Brixham. The Turkey and Tinsel break stays in the Burlington Hotel in Torquay, located just 10 minutes on foot from Torquay harbour, town centre and the beach. Justifiably known as the ‘English Riviera’, beautiful Torbay is one of our favourite holiday areas. Torquay is the premier resort, with exotic gardens, palm trees, and terraces of hotels above the harbour and marina.
Our Turkey & Tinsel packages include traditional Christmas dinners and festivities and include all half board accommodation, coach travel throughout is escorted by our Tour Managers and includes excursions too.
PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person and based on two people sharing a twin/double room. Single room supplements and upgrades are not included.

Full Day: Exeter
Defined by its river and sea frontages at the mouth of the Exe Estuary, the popular seaside resort of Exmouth retains a genteel charm of yesteryear. Reputed as the oldest leisure resort in Britain, as far back as the 18th Century visitors have been attracted to its long esplanade, wonderful beaches and warm climate, sheltered by the shores of the English Riviera to the west and offering a gateway to the historic Jurassic Coast to the east.
Half Day: Dartmouth
A half day excursion to Dartmouth, the beautiful town situated on the banks of the picturesque River Dart, with its charming historic streets, scenic river location and surrounded by South Devon countryside.
Half Day: Brixham
A half day tour to Brixham, an ancient fishing port which is still busy today, while the modern marina has yachts protected by a half mile long breakwater offering an alternative view of the town.
Turkey & Tinsel Programme
MONDAY: It’s Christmas Eve – From local departure points relax, get to know your fellow holidaymakers, and enjoy the comfortable coach journey to the venue of your choice. Before dinner you are invited to a welcome reception with your hosts and, after dinner, relax in the bar or lounge and enjoy a drink with your new-found friends.
TUESDAY: It’s Christmas Day – Start this ‘Christmas’ day with a leisurely breakfast then sit back and enjoy a full day excursion before returning for one of the highlights of the week... a full ‘Christmas’ dinner with all the festive trimmings and a visit from Santa! After dinner enjoy a night of festive entertainment.
WEDNESDAY: It’s Boxing Day – After breakfast, board your coach for a full day sightseeing excursion before returning to the hotel. In the evening look forward to a Boxing Day dinner followed by festive entertainment.
THURSDAY: It’s New Year’s Eve – After breakfast, board your coach for a leisurely half day sightseeing excursion before returning to the hotel. In the evening look forward to a special New Year’s Eve dinner followed by entertainment to see in the ‘New Year’!
FRIDAY: Fond Farewells – After breakfast it’s time to make our way home.
