Excursions
FULL DAY: Exeter
Today we head to Exeter for a full day excursion, this ancient city pre-dates the arrival of the Romans in AD 50 and is known as Devon’s cathedral capital city. Here you will find a real hub of history and fun, with a good range of museums, art galleries, a wonderful quay and plenty of cafes and shops to visit.
HALF DAY: Newton Abbott
This morning we head for Newton Abbot, a delightful Devon town, where it is market day. Wander through the old Butter Market or just enjoy the outdoor market in the town square.
HALF DAY: Dartmouth
A half day excursion to Dartmouth, the beautiful town situated on the banks of the picturesque River Dart, with its charming historic streets, scenic river location and surrounded by South Devon countryside.

We now have two pick up regions so your travel days will be more convenient, providing more efficient journeys, meeting your tour manager and fellow travellers earlier and in most cases arriving in resort earlier, please refer to our Pick-ups section below for more details.
The Tour Ref below indicates whether the tour departs from Area A or Area B by having either an A or B at the end. For example, GUK5A would be a tour departing from Area A.

Traveling from Departure Area A: Our new and improved network means for all UK and Ireland holidays you join your tour coach at our interchange area at Northampton Services on the M1, at junction 15A.
Travelling from Departure Area B: Our new and improved network means for all UK and Ireland holidays you join your tour coach at our interchange area at Beaconsfield Services on the M40, at junction 2.
