Your Itinerary

SATURDAY: Overnight hotel
Our door to door service collects you from home and transfers you to your tour coach. Then it is on to our overnight stop.

SUNDAY: Cross to Ireland & Powerscourt House and Gardens
Taking the early ferry from Holyhead (breakfast voucher included on board), we arrive in Dublin at lunchtime. This afternoon we visit Powerscourt House & Gardens on the edge of the Wicklow Mountains. This stunning estate has the backdrop of Sugarloaf Mountain while tranquil Japanese Gardens offer reflective paradises. Afterwards we make our way to our first hotel on the outskirts of Dublin.

MONDAY: Cork & Tralee
This morning we head towards the south of Ireland and to the Emerald Isle’s second city, Cork where there is free time to discover the many attractions from Shandon Church with its pepper-pot steeple to the Old English Market, a Cork tradition since 1610. Afterwards we continue to Tralee, the county capital of Kerry, where we stay for two nights.

TUESDAY: Ring of Kerry & Killarney
A rewarding full day out today as we tour the famous Ring of Kerry, one of the finest areas of natural beaty in Europe, with shimmering lakes, rising peaks and wonderous ocean views, all with local myths and folklore along the way. On our return we stop in the popular centre of Killarney with its traditional shops and bars.

WEDNESDAY: Limerick, the Cliffs of Moher & Lisdoonvarna
We leave County Kerry this morning skirting the city of Limerick and heading to the west coast of Clare. We stop at the incredible Cliffs of Moher, a vast landmark of towering cliffs standing strong against the rages of the Atlantic Ocean before visiting Lisdoonvarna, an old spa town that is famous for its annual matchmaking festival, with farmers flocking to the village in search of a bride. Later we continue our journey through the extraordinary ‘lunar landscape’ of the Burren to reach our overnight hotel in Ballinasloe.

THURSDAY: Galway
Today we visit Galway, the most colourful of Ireland’s cities, much revered in verse and song. Here there is time to enjoy the compact centre before we make our way east across the heart of Ireland to our final Irish night on the outskirts of Dublin.

FRIDAY: Dublin & Overnight hotel
Enjoy a morning in Dublin before we take the afternoon ferry to Holyhead (dinner voucher included on board) and onwards to our overnight hotel.

SATURDAY: Return home
Our tour to the Emerald Isle concludes as we drive south and then complete your holiday back at your front door with our door to door service.
