First performed in 1950 as the army’s contribution to the Edinburgh Festival, the Military Tattoo has become a much-loved annual event, held for a period of three weeks in August on the floodlit Castle Esplanade. Whilst primarily a military display, it is a colourful and exciting performance by marching bands in a dramatic evening setting high above the city. Our seven day break includes the majesty
of the Tattoo with the contrasting scenery of the Highlands, the serenity of the Trossachs and the warmth of our friendly hotel in the centre of the Stirling.
PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person and based on two people sharing a twin/double room. Single room supplements and upgrades are not included.

Itinerary
MONDAY: From local joining points we head to Scotland to arrive at our hotel mid evening.
TUESDAY: A day excursion into Glasgow with time to explore this city with so much heritage and culture including world class museums.
WEDNESDAY: Lunch in the hotel before we head to Edinburg. Enjoy some free time in the city before enjoying an evening at the Tattoo.
THURSDAY: A leisurely start before we take a drive to the shores of Loch Lomond and the popular village of Luss.
FRIDAY: A continental breakfast for an early start this morning as we leave our hotel and return south.
