Defined by its river and sea frontages at the mouth of the Exe Estuary, the popular seaside resort of Exmouth retains a genteel charm of yesteryear. Reputed as the oldest leisure resort in Britain, as far back as the 18th Century visitors have been attracted to its long esplanade, wonderful beaches and warm climate, sheltered by the shores of the English Riviera to the west and offering a gateway to the historic Jurassic Coast to the east.

Your Excursions
FULL DAY: This morning to Exeter, one of the oldest cities in England, founded over 2,000 years ago. Today there is plenty to explore from the many museums and magnificent cathedral to the historic winding lanes. This afternoon we continue along the Exe Estuary through Dawlish to Teignmouth. Today it has many attractions including a Victorian pier and lido.
FULL DAY: A full day excursion along the East Devon coast today where a succession of small resorts are set between cliffs and wooded hills. Our first stop is Seaton, where a ride on the narrow gauge tramway is worth experiencing, along the banks of the River Axe. From here we drive along the coast to Sidmouth, a genteel resort set between distinctive red cliffs.
HALF DAY: Today we swap land for water with a circular cruise along the famous Jurassic Coast. Sit back and relax, as well as enjoying a cream tea on board, as we sail along this staggering stretch of coastline, offering unrivalled views of the shoreline and the sea stacks of Ladram Bay.
