Cruise Itinerary

DAY 1: We collect you from home with our Door to Door Service and join our tour coach before heading across the Channel and onwards to the Amsterdam area to board the MS La Boheme in time for cocktails and dinner.

DAY 2: This morning, we make a short visit to Amsterdam before returning on board for lunch. This afternoon, we make our way to pretty Volendam and then to Zaanse Schans, a traditional Dutch experience with a working community dating back to the 18th century. We rejoin our vessel in Wijk Bij Duurstede on the Amsterdam-Rhine Canal for the evening. 

DAY 3: A morning cruising along the River De Lek to reach the busy port of Rotterdam. This afternoon, we travel by coach to the world-famous Keukenhof Gardens. Here, there is time to stroll around the park and explore amazing displays of spring flowers exhibited in the extensive grounds and indoor pavilions. This evening, enjoy a gala dinner on board.

DAY 4: A morning of cruising today as we leave Rotterdam and ease across the border into Belgium to reach Antwerp, a port city dating back to the Middle Ages, best known as the centre of Belgium’s diamond industry. There will be time to explore Antwerp as we moor overnight for our last evening on board.

DAY 5: After breakfast, we disembark and make our way back to Calais for our return crossing and homeward bound, concluding our return Door to Door Service to your home.

Throughout your cruise, CroisiEurope’s onboard hosts are there to help you enjoy your cruise to the maximum, answering questions, organising excursions and even providing orientation walks in some destinations. 

Inside your cabin unwind in comfort. All  cabins have shower and toilet, satellite TV, a safe and a hairdryer. Each also has air-conditioning and all are outside cabins offering your own view of the river. Upgrades are available for cabins higher on the vessel and some cabins have French balconies or private terraces. Free Wi-Fi is also available on board.

EUROPEAN FLAVOURS
Start your day at the impressive self-service buffet, offering an expansive continental breakfast that could include pastries, breads, jams, sausages and cold meats, eggs, fresh fruit and yoghurts.
Each lunch and dinner is prepared daily from local specialties, with fresh ingredients, and carefully planned with an eye on the traditions of fine French gastronomy. And what’s more, each dish is paired with excellent complimentary wines. The overall atmosphere on board is informal and casual clothing is normal, although most people like to dress up in the evening.

Complimentary drinks are part of the package during your time on board, including soft drinks, beer, house wines and most spirits. Premium brands are available to purchase from the drinks menu.  Each cruise also includes a welcome cocktail with the crew and a gala dinner evening.

The impressive MS Beethoven has 90 cabins over 3 decks, offering spacious public areas for refined and relaxing cruising. The restaurant is situated on the main deck with panoramic windows, while the lounge/bar with a dance floor is on the middle deck, and a further piano bar is situated on the upper deck. The sun deck provides sun loungers as a fabulous way to watch the world go by.
