Your Cruise Itinerary:

DAY 1: From local joining points we head across the Channel and onwards to the Amsterdam area to board the MS Europe in time for cocktails and dinner.

DAY 2: This morning we make a short visit to Amsterdam before returning on board for lunch. After lunch we make our way to pretty Volendam, characterised by its small houses and drawbridges over the canals, and retaining its strong fishing links. From here we make our way to Zaanse Schans, a traditional Dutch experience with a working community dating back to the 18th century. We re-join our vessel in Wijk Bij Duurstede on the Amsterdam-Rhine Canal where the evening is free.

DAY 3: A morning cruising along the River De Lek to reach the busy port of Rotterdam. This afternoon we travel by coach to the world famous Keukenhof Gardens. Here there is time to stroll around the park and explore amazing displays of spring flowers exhibited in the extensive grounds and indoor pavilions. This evening enjoy a gala dinner on-board.

DAY 4: A morning of cruising today as we leave Rotterdam and ease across the border into Belgium where to reach Antwerp, a port city dating back to the middle ages, best known as the centre of Belgium’s diamond industry. There will be time to explore Antwerp as we moor overnight for our last evening on board.

DAY 5: After breakfast we disembark and make our way back to Calais for our return crossing and homeward bound.

Inside your cabin unwind in comfort. All  cabins have shower and toilet, satellite TV, a safe and a hairdryer. Each also has air-conditioning and all are outside cabins offering your own view of the river. Upgrades are available for cabins higher on the vessel and some cabins have French balconies or private terraces. Free Wi-Fi is also available on board.

EUROPEAN FLAVOURS
Start your day at the impressive self-service buffet, offering an expansive continental breakfast that could include pastries, breads, jams, sausages and cold meats, eggs, fresh fruit and yoghurts.
Each lunch and dinner is prepared daily from local specialties, with fresh ingredients, and carefully planned with an eye on the traditions of fine French gastronomy. And what’s more, each dish is paired with excellent complimentary wines. The overall atmosphere on board is informal and casual clothing is normal, although most people like to dress up in the evening.

Complimentary drinks are part of the package during your time on board, including soft drinks, beer, house wines and most spirits. Premium brands are available to purchase from the drinks menu.  Each cruise also includes a welcome cocktail with the crew and a gala dinner evening.

This spacious, yet intimate vessel has 79 cabins over two decks offering relaxing cruising in a refined atmosphere. Public areas feature a spacious restaurant on the upper deck with panoramic windows. There is also a lounge/bar with dance floor on the upper deck while on there is a sun deck with comfortable sun loungers and a large shaded area.

Cabin Facilities include: > Twin beds > Shower & toilet > Satellite television > Internal use telephone > Safe > Air-conditioning > Wi-Fi > 220v electricity sockets.

Please note: Cabins are located on main and upper decks. Main deck cabins have large windows, upper deck have high sliding windows. This vessel does not have a lift and all decks are connected by stairs, therefore this vessel may not be suitable for those with walking difficulties.
