FULL DAY: A scenic delight this morning as we head to the small town of Settle. Here we board our train for the Settle to Carlisle rail journey. Widely considered one of the most stunning and scenic rail journeys in the UK, with views of the spectacular Yorkshire Three Peaks, breathtaking heights from the top of the Ribblehead Viaduct and the awe-inspiring remote fells of Westmorland as you journey through 72 miles of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and the lush Eden Valley

FULL DAY: We head to the edge of the Yorkshire Dales to reach the Embsay & Bolton Abbey Railway. Here we take a return ride on its nostalgic stock from a bygone era, rolling through the lush green scenery of Yorkshire. This afternoon we head to Keighley to board the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway to Oxenhope. Originally opened in 1867 and funded by mill owners, it is famed for its prominent role in the 1970’s film The Railway Children.

FULL DAY: This morning we head for Skipton, ‘Gateway to the Dales’ with its immense history and iconic castle. From here we head deep into the National Park, passing Grassington and Kettlewell on our way to Wensleydale, made famous by the James Herriot stories, and we stop at Hawes. This pretty market town is a delight to explore and is famous as being the home to the Wensleydale Cheese Company.
