The delightful village of Saundersfoot enjoys a superb setting on the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast. The resort lies in a sheltered wooded valley where pretty shopping streets slope down towards three lovely sandy beaches lapped by the warm waters of the Gulf Stream. The busy harbour bustles with pleasure craft and fishing boats, and the resort is justifiably proud of its neat and well-kept appearance which is appreciated by visitors. And we have some wonderful trip planned for you exploring one of Britain’s best kept secrets, the delightful county of Pembrokeshire in west Wales.

We come to Fishguard, scene of the film version of ‘Under Milk Wood’ and divided into an upper and lower town, linked by a steep hill. Moving on we come to St David’s, birthplace of the patron saint of Wales. This miniature city is no larger than a village but has a small cathedral founded in AD550.
FULL DAY: More fantastic scenery today as we call at the beauty spot of Cenarth Falls, where the River Teifi cascades over a series of rocky ledges and still use a unique coracles. We continue to the old town of Cardigan which has a definite character. We continue through the clifftop hamlet of Gwbert-on-Sea and explore more unspoilt coastline before returning over the wild Preseli Hills, reputed to be the origin of Stonehenge’s mammoth granite stones.
HALF DAY: An extended half day to the popular resort of Tenby, boasting two beautiful beaches, seperetated by the harbour and Castle Hill. The narrow lanes and alleyways of the town centre are a delight to explore.
