FULL DAY: Sandringham House and Gardens
Through the Norfolk countryside to visit Sandringham House and Gardens, favourite retreat of the late Queen. Explore the fine 19th-century Mansion House - packed with priceless antiques and gifts from around the world together with the formal gardens, station museum and 300-acre country park (Holkham Hall will be visited if the house is occupied).
FULL DAY: Cromer and cruise aboard the Mississippi Paddle Steamer
To the popular resort of Cromer, a small Victorian holiday resort set on a bluff above the sea. The prominent church tower, which dominates the town, is the highest in Norfolk, and there are lovely cliff-top gardens, while fishing boats on the beach catch the succulent crabs that can be found just off the coast. This afternoon we tour into the Norfolk Broads where we include a delightful cruise on the much-loved waterways aboard the Mississippi Paddle Steamer.
FULL DAY: Wroxham & Norwich
To Wroxham - ‘Gateway to the Broads’ where you can watch the tourist boats busily pass by, before we head into charming Norwich to explore this medieval city with its attractive lanes, impressive castle and beautiful cathedrals.
