The wild and unspoilt Atlantic northern coastline of Devon is a complete contrast to the busy tourist resorts dotted along the county’s southern coast. Here you will find peaceful coves and wide sandy beaches, rugged moorland across dramatic moors and fine market towns. Amid this surprising area, RHS Rosemoor flourishes on the temperate climate, bringing a floral treat to the heart of North Devon. We also include a visit to the nearby world famous Dartington Crystal as well as touring the most scenic parts of this most magical county.

YOUR EXCURSIONS
FULL DAY: This morning we make our way to RHS Rosemoor, the Royal Horticultural Society’s most westerly garden blending formal and informal plantings to produce a dazzling display of gardens, orchards and trails, developed naturally over time as well as more recent RHS-designed additions. This afternoon we visit the Dartington Crystal Visitor Centre with its audio-visual theatre to explore the glass making process and live demonstrations.
FULL DAY: Today we explore the wilds of Exmoor National Park driving through the heart of the park to reach the medieval village of Dunster, before making our way to the popular resort of Minehead. We return along the North Devon Coast, to reach the twin resorts of Lynton and Lynmouth, set one above the other with a cliff railway linking them.
HALF DAY: To the ancient market town of Barnstaple, known for its historic Pannier Market offering Devon delicacies and gifts.

The Tour Ref below indicates whether the tour departs from Area A or Area B by having either an A or B at the end. For example, GUK5A would be a tour departing from Area A.

Traveling from Departure Area A: Be picked up from your free local departure point, and join your tour coach at our interchange area at Northampton Services on the M1, at junction 15A.
Traveling from Departure Area B: Be picked up from your free local departure point, and join your tour coach at our interchange area at Beaconsfield Services, M40, junction 2.
