5 Days Half Board by Coach
Nestling in the very heart of Europe, the exclusive Grand Duchy of Luxembourg is full of scenic surprises – from verdant farmland, lush meadows and historic villages, to majestic chateaux and vineyards rolling away to the pretty banks of meandering rivers below. Our hotel base is the Grand Hotel in Vianden, tucked away in a picturesque corner close to the German border, ideal for exploring the wonderful scenery in the great company of your travelling companions.
PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person and based on two people sharing a twin/double room. Single room supplements and upgrades are not included.
Half day: This morning we take a guided walking tour of Vianden to discover this pretty town.
Full day: A full day excursion to Luxembourg City, the capital of this small country. Here you have free time to explore one of Europe’s gems. A multi-cultural city which has a modern feel while still retaining a beautiful historic old town within the former fortifications - a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1994.
Full day: A full day excursion travelling through the Mullertahl region - nicknamed ‘Little Switzerland’ due to its hilly landscape reminiscent of the Swiss countryside. We reach the border town of Echternach, the oldest town in Luxembourg before continuing across the River Moselle to Trier, Germany’s oldest city.
