Your Itinerary:

FULL DAY: Brighton
Along the Sussex coast to the cosmopolitan city of Brighton with plenty of time to enjoy its great diversity of attractions, from the Royal Pavilion to the quirky shops in the famous Lanes. We return via the rolling scenery of the South Downs.

FULL DAY: Rye & Battle
This morning, we travel to the medieval town of Rye, considered to be one of the best-preserved of the Cinque Ports, with quaint cobbled streets, historic half-timbered buildings and smugglers’ inns. Later we head to Battle, renowned as the site of the famous Battle of Hastings.

FULL DAY: Royal Tunbridge Wells
Today we head through the Sussex countryside and across the border into Kent to visit Royal Tunbridge Wells. This historic spa town, founded over 400 years ago, became the playground for royalty – and at one time rivalled Bath and Brighton as the place ‘to be seen’.
