FULL DAY: Buxton & the Peak District
We visit the grand spa town of Buxton with its gracious 18th century crescents and terraces, followed by a scenic excursion through the heart of the Peak District. 

FULL DAY: Shrewsbury, including a River Severn cruise, and Shropshire
This morning to Shrewsbury, one of England’s finest Tudor towns. Here we include a delightful cruise on the River Severn before enjoying some time for sightseeing. We return through the heart of Shropshire, surrounded by the Long Mynd and Wenlock Edge.

HALF DAY: Chester
A half-day visit to the Roman city of Chester with its lovely half-timbered buildings and fine shops in unique two-level galleried arcades known as the Rows. Here you will find the most complete city walls, the oldest racecourse and the largest Roman Amphitheatre in Britain.
