FULL DAY: Chester & Llangollen
This morning we head to the magnificent walled city of Chester, where there is time to explore its famous Roman walls, stunning medieval cathedral and the unique two-tiered shopping galleries of The Rows - one of the finest examples of Tudor black-and-white architecture in England. This afternoon, we cross the border into Wales to visit the charming town of Llangollen, set against a backdrop of rolling hills alongside the River Dee, with time to take in its picturesque streets and perhaps visit the impressive ruins of the nearby Valle Crucis Abbey.

FULL DAY: Shrewsbury, Severn Cruise & Shropshire
This morning, we arrive in Shrewsbury, one of England's finest medieval market towns, with its wealth of timber-framed buildings, winding lanes and rich history as the birthplace of Charles Darwin. After time to explore at leisure, we embark on a relaxing cruise along the River Severn, taking in the beautiful Shropshire countryside from the water before enjoying a gentle afternoon in this most scenic corner of the Welsh Marches.

HALF DAY: Buxton
Today's excursion takes us to the elegant spa town of Buxton, nestled within the Peak District. With time to explore at leisure, you may wish to stroll through the beautiful Pavilion Gardens, admire the grandeur of the Opera House or browse the distinctive curved arcade of the Cavendish Shopping Centre, housed within the town's former Victorian thermal baths.
