Your Itinerary:

FULL DAY: Tatton Park & Estate 
Today we enjoy one of the highlights of our tour as we head for Tatton Park in Cheshire. Set amidst more than 50 acres at the heart of the 1,000 acre parkland sits the mansion in an elevated position and is a treasure trove of history across the past 300 years. The gardens are one of the most picturesque in England and are an almost complete picture of how it would have looked back in Edwardian times. In its heyday the 40 acre farm fed the Tatton Estate family and their staff, and today you can explore some of the original buildings, such as the impressive 18^th century mill, and watch fascinating demonstrations.

FULL DAY: Liverpool
To the vibrant ‘music city’ of Liverpool with its rich heritage. We begin with a guided tour of the city to reveal the maritime, musical and cultural history of the city before taking a ‘ferry across the Mersey’ and enjoy a 50 minute cruise past some of Liverpool's historic landmarks. The remainder of the day is free to explore at leisure. There are numerous museums and galleries, perhaps discover the Albert Dock, view the Three Graces or learn more about the Beatles.

FULL DAY: Kirkby Lonsdale - River Lune Cruise 
This morning we head for the historic market town of Kirkby Lonsdale at the head of the Lune Valley before taking a superb cruise on the delightful River Lune, offering a relaxing angle on the Lancashire scenery. We then arrive in Lancaster, a compact city with a medieval past, a myriad of independent shops and a surprising amount of parkland and green spaces.
