Your ItineraryFULL DAY: Sandringham House & Gardens
Heading deep into the Norfolk countryside we make our way to Sandringham House & Gardens, a favourite country home of the Royal Family, where their festive celebrations are held. The fine 17th century mansion house is a trove of priceless antiques and art, while outside you can explore the formal gardens, famous park church and station museum.
FULL DAY: Sheringham & Cromer
Travelling to the North Norfolk coast we reach Sheringham, a busy little resort with a fine sandy beach and a myriad of small seaside shops. Here the preserved sail powered lifeboat is worth visiting. Our second coastal visit takes us to nearby Cromer, a small Victorian holiday resort set on a bluff above the sea. The prominent church tower, which dominates the town, is the highest in Norfolk, and there are lovely cliff-top gardens, while fishing boats on the beach catch the succulent crabs that can be found just off the coast.
HALF DAY: Norfolk Broads cruise & Norwich
This morning we tour into the Norfolk Broads where we include a delightful cruise on the much-loved waterways. We return to Norwich this afternoon with free time in the historic centre.
