Your Itinerary:

SUNDAY: Our Door to Door Service collects you from home and transfers you to your tour coach, meeting your fellow travellers. Crossing the English Channel, we make our way south to our overnight hotel stop.

MONDAY: Passing from France into Germany, through ever-changing scenery we reach our second overnight hotel stop.

TUESDAY: A scenic day through Alpine vistas as we reach Italy and on to the shores of Lake Garda and our hotel in Torbole for the next seven nights.

WEDNESDAY: This morning we head by coach to the nearby resort of Riva del Garda, at the head of the lake. Here there is time to explore its impressive square and bustling streets or perhaps take the newly installed funicular to the Bastione di Riva for outstanding views across the north of the lake. This afternoon we take a water bus to the pretty town of Malcesine with its cobbled network of medieval streets, charming harbour and striking Castello Scaligero rising above the town and lake.

THURSDAY: A full day excursion to one of Europe’s most popular tourist destinations – Venice. This unique, ‘floating’ city is romantic, fascinating and impressive in equal measure. Arriving in the centre by water boat is the most evocative way to arrive before we take a guided walking tour, discovering such landmarks as St Mark’s Square and Basilica, the Bridge of Sighs and the Rialto Bridge. Afterwards enjoy free time to wander thenetwork of narrow streets, crossing the famous waterways, or perhaps take a famous gondola ride.

FRIDAY: Enjoy a day at leisure to relax in Torbole.

SATURDAY: A further day at leisure or maybe take a water bus to a nearby resort – the pretty village of Limone, known for its lemon production, is well worth a visit.

SUNDAY: A delightful day to the historic city of Verona. Here you will find one of the finest preserved Roman Ampitheatres in the world where each year the famous Verona Opera is held. Other gems include the Basilica of St Zeno, the Lamberti Tower and the bustling Piazza delle Erbe, and of course the fabled ‘Juliet’s House’ on the Via Cappello.

MONDAY: A final day on Lake Garda today as we journey to the southern tip of the lake and the beautiful town of Sirmione, protruding into the lake on a long peninsula with a grand castle and the ruins of an ancient Roman villa. This afternoon we take a scenic cruise on the lake to conclude our time in style. 

TUESDAY: This morning we depart Torbole and begin our return journey, passing through Austria and onwards into Germany for our overnight stop.

WEDNESDAY: We continue our journey through Germany and onwards into Belgium for our final night.

THURSDAY: Crossing the Channel we complete our Italian adventure with our Door to Door Service, safely returning you home.
