Get into the festive spirit early with our pre-Christmas tour to Llandudno, This elegant coastal town, known as the 'Queen of Welsh Resorts' lies on a sandy bay, nestled between the giant headlands of the Great and Little Orme, with Snowdonia towering in the background. Llandudno is a traditional seaside resort at heart, with outstanding scenery on the doorstep, and it is the perfect winter destination to enjoy the magic of the season at a slower pace, before the holiday rush starts.
Enjoy three unique excursions on this holiday, as we visit Roman Chester, with its striking black and white buildings and traditional Christmas Market (selected dates). We'll also discover Betws-y-Coed, a village showcasing preserved Victorian architecture surrounded by breathtaking natural scenery. Finally, we'll venture to the Isle of Anglesey, famed for its stunning coastline and historical significance, with a stop in the charming village of Llanfair PG, known for its extraordinary name.

Full Day: Chester (Christmas market is not open on the 3 Nov tour)To the beautiful and historic city of Chester which has the most complete city walls and the largest Roman Amphitheatre in Britain, plus the 700-year-old shopping rows. If you travel on the 1st December, you can also experience the Chester Christmas Market, which offers a magical festive experience, including unique handmade gifts, and seasonal decorations, and the market also provides a classic Christmas experience with a variety of festive food and drink options.
Half Day: Betws-y-Coed
Betws-y-Coed is a famous mountain village in the heart of Snowdonia, renowned for its local crafts and spectacular waterfalls, the village retains much of its Victorian charm, with stone buildings, quaint shops, and traditional pubs adding to its unique character.
Half Day: Isle of Anglesey
We cross the Menai Straits onto the Isle of Anglesey, ‘Ynys Mon’, to the locals, renowned for its diverse and stunning coastline, featuring sandy beaches, rugged cliffs, and picturesque coves there is so much to discover, the island is also steeped in a rich archaeological and historical heritage with its charming villages and towns.
