Admiring the changing landscapes as we sail from the French capital of Paris through the villages bordering the Seine, each day allowing for new discoveries as we head towards Normandy. Discover the magnificent white cliffs of Etretat, the exceptional architecture along the Norman Abbey Circuit and soak up the charms of Honfleur and medieval Rouen before gliding back into Paris, mooring in the shadows of the Eiffel Tower and enjoying a tour of the city.

Itinerary
YOUR ITINERARY
DAY 1: From local joining points we head for our Channel crossing and onwards to Paris to join the MS Seine. After settling into your cabin join this evenings dinner and entertainment with a ‘Titi Parisien’ theme to begin this magical French cruise. Later we set sail from Paris as we leave the bright lights behind and begin our cruise on the Seine overnight.
DAY 2: This morning we continue to cruise towards Les Andelys enjoying the magnificent view of La Roche-Guyon, one of the prettiest villages on the Seine as we gently head downstream. This afternoon we include an excursion to the Chateau de Martainville, built over 500 years ago, and housing a museum of Norman arts and traditions. This evening we continue towards the attractive port of Honfleur.
DAY 3: This morning we include a guided tour of Honfleur, discovering the charms of this historic port, with colourful half-timbered buildings, once the homes of wealthy merchants and shipowners. After lunch our excursion heads for the Alabaster Coast where the magnificent White Cliffs stand proudly along the coastline. This was an area that charmed many of France’s most famous artists, fascinated by the play of light on the sea and cliffs, together with the enchanting villages dotted along this stretch of the Normandy coast.
DAY 4: Admire the architectural heritage of the magnificent Norman Abbeys on our included trail including Jumièges Abbey, built in 654 and described as the most beautiful ruins in France by Victor Hugo, and to the Abbey of Saint Wandrille, blending classical architecture and medieval heritage and home to Benedictine Monks since 1931. After lunch we include a guided walking tour of Rouen. The centre is only a short walk from the mooring point and soon you can indulge Rouen’s cultural and historical past and discover the beautiful Notre-Dame Cathedral,. This evening enjoy a gala evening dinner as we set sail for Paris.
DAY 5: This morning we continue our cruise passing the beautifully landscaped riverbanks of the Seine before we glide into Paris early afternoon. Mooring close to the Eiffel Tower we include a panoramic guided tour of the city’s sights by coach, a fabulous way to catch all of Paris’s most legendary and iconic landmarks. This evening, our final evening on board, we cruise by moonlight through Paris for an unforgettable view of the city (water levels permitting).
DAY 6: Disembarking after breakfast we head towards Calais and our Channel crossing before returning homeward.

Inside your cabin unwind in comfort. All cabins have shower and toilet, satellite TV, a safe and a hairdryer. Each also has air-conditioning and all are outside cabins offering your own view of the river. Upgrades are available for cabins higher on the vessel and some cabins have French balconies or private terraces. Free Wi-Fi is also available on board.

Start your day at the impressive self-service buffet, offering an expansive continental breakfast that could include pastries, breads, jams, sausages and cold meats, eggs, fresh fruit and yoghurts.
Each lunch and dinner is prepared daily from local specialties, with fresh ingredients, and carefully planned with an eye on the traditions of fine French gastronomy. And what’s more, each dish is paired with excellent complimentary wines. The overall atmosphere on board is informal and casual clothing is normal, although most people like to dress up in the evening.

Accommodation
MS SEINE PRINCESS
Aptly named for cruising on the Seine, the Seine Princess has 67 cabins over two decks. At 110 metres long and 11 metres wide it offers spacious public areas and comfortable cabins. The restaurant on the upper deck has large panorama windows for admiring the passing landscapes while the sun deck is the ideal spot for relaxing, with comfortable sun loungers and a large shaded area.

Please note: Cabins are located on main and upper decks. Main deck cabins have large windows, upper deck have high sliding windows. This vessel does not have a lift and all decks are connected by stairs, therefore this vessel may not be suitable for those with walking difficulties.
