Your cruising Itinerary

DAY 1: We will collect you from home with our door to door service before heading for our Channel crossing and onwards to join our ship in Remich.

DAY 2: This morning we take an excursion to Luxembourg City, with time to explore at leisure before returning to our ship for lunch. This afternoon relax in the historic centre of Remich or perhaps take a stroll along the long promenade. This evening our ship begins to cruise towards Saarburg as we enjoy a night of entertainment on board.

DAY 3: This morning we cruise the River Saar and then onto the Moselle as we glide towards the historic city of Trier. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure to explore Trier before our ship begins its journey towards Cochem this evening.

DAY 4: Arriving in Cochem early this morning, where the delights of this beautiful town can be enjoyed before lunch. This afternoon settle down on board as we cruise the meandering waters of the Moselle, passing shoreside vineyards and charming villages. We arrive in Koblenz late afternoon with the evening free to discover this popular town with its ancient centre.

DAY 5: A highlight today as we cruise the romantic Rhine Valley and pass through the spectacular Rhine Gorge. This is a region dotted with embattled castles and famous
vineyards alongside quaint riverside villages. We reach the tourist centre of Rudesheim early afternoon, with plenty of time to explore the town and perhaps take-in a glass of wine in one of the many bars in the famous Drosselgasse. Late this evening we depart Rudesheim to cruise overnight towards Mannheim.

DAY 6: We arrive in Mannheim early this morning from where we board our coach and make our way to Heidelberg, where the old town is watched over by its majestic castle. It is also home to Germany’s oldest university. After discovering the city at leisure we re-join our ship in Heidelberg and cruise through the Necker Valley before rejoining the mighty Rhine. This evening enjoy a gala dinner on board as the ship makes its way towards Strasbourg.

DAY 7: We disembark this morning after breakfast and make our way back through France to Calais to take our Channel crossing back to the UK, before we safely return you to your doorstep.

Inside your cabin unwind in comfort. All  cabins have shower and toilet, satellite TV, a safe and a hairdryer. Each also has air-conditioning and all are outside cabins offering your own view of the river. Upgrades are available for cabins higher on the vessel and some cabins have French balconies or private terraces. Free Wi-Fi is also available on board.

Start your day at the impressive self-service buffet, offering an expansive continental breakfast that could include pastries, breads, jams, sausages and cold meats, eggs, fresh fruit and yoghurts.
Each lunch and dinner is prepared daily from local specialties, with fresh ingredients, and carefully planned with an eye on the traditions of fine French gastronomy. And what’s more, each dish is paired with excellent complimentary wines. The overall atmosphere on board is informal and casual clothing is normal, although most people like to dress up in the evening.

MS LEONARDO DA VINCI

Named after the great artist, this comfortable ship has 72 cabins over two decks. At 105 metres long and 11 metres wide it offers ample space to relax and enjoy river cruising. On board there is a panoramic restaurant and lounge/bar with dance floor while the sun deck offers a wonderful setting for watching the scenery change with sun loungers and a large shaded area.
