Your Itinerary:

FULL DAY: Chatham Dockyards including a ‘Call the Midwife’ guided tour 
To the Historic Dockyard, where we discover the story of the dockyard and its people, along with its fine collection of ships and 400  years of maritime history. It is also the setting for the popular TV programme Call the Midwife! and as part of our day we we include a guided tour, revealing the locations used for filming as well exhibitions of sets props and costumes. 

FULL DAY: Dover Castle including the ‘Castle under Siege’ experience 
Today we make our way to imposing Dover Castle, set high on the cliffs overlooking the English Channel. As well as time to iImmerse yourself in the history of the castle we also include the 'Castle Under Siege' Experience, re-visiting 1216 and repelling French attacks, with interactive displays and re-opened tunnels to explore.

FULL DAY: Canterbury & Whitstable 
This morning we make our way to Canterbury - the cradle of Christianity - where the medieval texture of the city remains amongst the streets and precincts of the famous cathedral. This afternoon we head to the North Kent coast and the sleepy resort of Whitstable, offering idyllic seaside walks and flavour from its sheltered position at the head of the Swale.
