As our train pulls out of London Paddington Station you’ll travel in comfort aboard the Great Western Railway to the picturesque coastal town of St Ives, where we’re based for four nights. Each day brings new adventures and new sights and sounds, from the world-famous Eden Project with its climate-controlled biomes to the historic port town of Falmouth, and from the stunning sights of Land’s End to the spectacular Cornish coastlines.

Itinerary
Excursions
Your Itinerary:MONDAY: Join your Grand UK Tour Manager and your fellow travellers at London Paddington Station before we take the lunchtime Great Western service to St Ives in Cornwall. On arrival we transfer to the St Ives Bay Hotel for four nights.
TUESDAY: We take the train to St Austell and a visit to one of Britain’s most loved garden experiences – The Eden Project built as a global garden telling the story of man’s developing relationship with plants. The project creates three of the World’s climatic zones – our own temperate climate outside and inside, plus giant ‘covered biome’ conservatories for the humid and warm regions.
WEDNESDAY: By train we head for the port and seaside resort of Falmouth whose maritime history and natural beauty have made it a hotspot for visitors. Explore the majestic Pendennis Castle at the entrance to the Carrick Roads, enjoy the many beaches or discover the vibrant town centre full of independent shops and restaurants. Leaving Falmouth early afternoon we take time to stop in Truro, Cornwall’s only city and whose magnificent cathedral is well worth a visit.
THURSDAY: Another scenic treat in store today as we take the train to Penzance where we catch the local bus service to Land’s End. This service is renowned for calling at some truly spectacular places en-route with superb views of the Cornish coast and countryside on either side. On arrival at Land’s End there is plenty of time to explore and discover the famous landmarks such as the iconic signpost, Longships Lighthouse (hopefully visible!) and the seriously impressive coastal scenery.
FRIDAY: We head to the station this morning for our morning journey back to London to complete our five day adventure in Cornwall.
