Experience authentic Yorkshire towns, a historic estate and a sightseeing cruise on this wonderfully varied holiday. Harewood House is an impressive Georgian mansion that rests within a Capability Brown designed landscape. The cobbled streets of Otley often feature on television dramas, while the Victorian spa town of Harrogate is renowned for its stylish Montpellier Quarter. Skipton is known as the ‘Gateway to the Dales’, and our visit here will be enhanced by a leisurely cruise on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal. We also call at pretty Grassington.

Inside, you’ll be captivated by the sumptuous State Rooms with rare Chippendale furniture, fine art and ceramics. We continue to the market town of Otley.

View fine art at Mercer Art Gallery, discover Harrogate’s connection to Russian royalty at the Royal Pump House, enjoy a cuppa in Betty’s Tearooms or relax in Valley Gardens.
Skipton, Canal Cruise & Grassington
Skipton is dominated by its commanding, well-preserved castle that dates back over nine hundred years. There will be time to explore before we board our cruiser for a pleasant sail on the Leeds and Liverpool canal. Afterwards, we stop at the olde-worlde village of Grassington.
