We visit the Peak District market town of Bakewell, home to grand period houses and, of course, the eponymous tart. Perhaps enjoy a stroll along the delightful riverside promenade.
Guided Tour of Lincoln
Look forward to a guided tour of Lincoln. Afterwards, perhaps visit the grand cathedral, a fine gothic building featuring a Romanesque front. Head to Lincoln Castle, a Norman fort and home of the original 1215 Magna Carta along with dungeons, towers and a Victorian prison. Alternatively, wander the quaint cobbled streets taking in the numerous historic monuments
and quirky shops.
