Nidd Hall stands resplendently in acres of award winning gardens near Harrogate. A Grade II listed mansion, it was built in the eighteenth century and is said to be where King Edward VIII met Mrs Wallis Simpson. The manor is a glorious potpourri of architectural styles while the spectacular grounds feature a fishing lake. Holiday includes a guided tour of the walled city of York where attractions include a stunning gothic minster with stained glass windows, as well as thirty world class museums such as the JORVIK Viking Centre where you can immerse yourself in the sights, sounds and smells of the Viking Age. We also spend a day in the Victorian spa town of Harrogate.
