A guided tour of Hereford, an attractive city with pleasant walks and a grand cathedral where you’ll find the Mappa Mundi – a famous medieval map of the world.

Ledbury & Tewkesbury
Feast your eyes on two picture postcard market towns! First up is Ledbury where you’ll find an abundance of timber-framed dwellings – especially in much photographed Church Lane. The riverside settlement of Tewkesbury is a living museum as well as a bustling town. Perhaps visit the abbey – a fine example of Norman architecture.

Holme Lacy House - Herefordshire

This Grade I listed mansion was completed in 1674 and is tucked away in the chocolate-box Wye Valley. It is steeped in history, having welcomed distinguished guests such as King Charles II. More than a century later the estate played host to cabinet meetings held by William Pitt the Elder and its glorious grounds are where Queen
Victoria’s daughter, Princess Beatrice planted a tree. Within its graceful walls you’ll find a grand staircase and the ornate state rooms that are now restaurants. Enjoy the parkland with its topiary, plants and fishing lake or try pitch & putt, archery, shooting, cocktail tasting, aqua aerobics, curling, croquet or shuffleboard.
