Alvaston Hall is a Grade II listed mansion with half-timbered framing, in a peaceful setting amid award winning gardens. A rather splendid country house hidden away in the Cheshire countryside, its history can be traced back to Saxon times. It became the beating heart of Cheshire society towards the end of the nineteenth century. Inside you’ll find a grand reception hall with a stained glass window and a fireplace enhanced by intricate Italian ironwork. Alvaston’s attractively furnished bedrooms are located in a modern annex close to the historic manor. Great activities to keep you busy include archery, rifle shooting, table tennis, pilates and dance workshops.

Guided Tour of Liverpool
Our guided tour will get your sightseeing off to a great start. Afterwards, visitor attractions include Albert Dock where you can step back to the 1960s and discover the story of how four young Liverpool lads were thrust to the dizzying heights of fame at The Beatles Story. Albert Dock is also home to The Tate Liverpool, International Slavery Museum and the Merseyside Maritime Museum. Alternatively, catch the ferry across the Mersey.
