Discover the shortbread tin villages of the Trossachs along with stunning vistas of Loch Katrine from aboard the Victorian Sir Walter Scott Steamship on this scenic holiday. Beautiful Loch Katrine is regarded as the birthplace of Scottish tourism as visitors flocked here after the publication of Sir Walter Scott’s 1810 poem, ‘The Lady of the Lake’. This holiday is based near Aberfoyle, a tourist magnet with an attractive main street with shops and cafes. Perhaps visit the Trossachs Discovery Centre to learn local history or find out the story of wool at the Scottish Wool Centre.

We head to Loch Lomond Shores to visit Sea Life Loch Lomond’s incredible undersea world with its seven themed zones. Watch the antics of the playful otters, get up close to Scotland’s largest collection of sharks, and view over 1500 sea creatures. Afterwards, afternoon tea at the Arrochar Hotel.
