Your Holiday ItineraryDay One. We journey to Cairnryan for our ferry crossing to Ireland then continue to our dinner, bed and breakfast stop.
Day Two. We begin our day with a stop in Adare, which lays claim to being Ireland’s prettiest village. We continue to Tralee, the capital of the Kingdom of Kerry, where we check in to the Brandon Hotel for our four night stay.
Day Three. After breakfast, we wind our way to the breathtaking Ring of Kerry. With its fine beaches and verdant countryside, the beauty of this gorgeous region is beyond question. It also offers an amazing insight into the country’s ancient heritage with Iron Age forts, old monasteries, villages steeped in folklore and a landscape carved from the Ice Age.
Day Four. Today we explore the world famous and immensely beautiful Dingle Peninsula – the stunning scenery that graced the screen in the movie Ryan’s Daughter. This gorgeous region is also home to a sprinkling of enchanting villages and settlements, each with its own unique character. You’ll find colourful streets lined with quirky stores, art and craft galleries and gift boutiques. If you work up an appetite, there are plenty of friendly cafes and atmospheric pubs.
Day Five. We head to Killarney for some sightseeing. Maybe you’ll visit the fifteenth century Ross Castle or the magnificent Victorian mansion Muckross House. You could even take a boat trip to Innisfallen Island, home to monastic ruins that date back to the eleventh century.
Day Six. We check out of our hotel and make our way to our dinner, bed and breakfast hotel.
Day Seven. Our treat today is a guided tour of Dublin. The Fair City is home to iconic sights such as Trinity College, Ha’penny Bridge, St Patrick’s Cathedral and Dublin Castle. We then head for our ferry back to Scotland.
