Torquay & The English Riviera
5 Day Coach Holiday
Torquay has an enviable seafront, beautiful beaches and a stylish marina. As part of the English Riviera, this graceful South Devon town has been accredited by UNESCO as a Global Geopark in recognition of its astonishing landscape and geology with rocks dating back millions of years. Indeed, visitors can follow in the footsteps of Stone Age Man at Kents Cavern, a spectacular cave network where you can step back to when this labyrinth was home to ancient humans. Perhaps visit Torre Abbey, a monastery founded in 1196 with art galleries and an Agatha Christie inspired Potent Plants Garden featuring flora from the local writer’s novels. This holiday haven also has a museum with an exhibition dedicated to Agatha Christie and Princess Pier promenade is where she roller-skated in her youth. Elsewhere, you might like to explore award-winning Babbacombe Model Village where you’ll find
miniature houses and people displayed with a splash of humour and a soupçon of history.
PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person and based on two people sharing a twin/double room. Single room supplements and upgrades are not included.
