7 Day Coach Holiday
Based in the picturesque Dutch town of Valkenburg, home to an eleventh century castle, as well as to the awesome Gemeentegrot Caverns that date back to the Romans. Includes a sightseeing cruise from Liege to Maastricht, an excursion to Cologne and a visit to Brussels. Staying at the Hotel Walram, located in a riverbank square close to the centre of Valkenburg.
PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person and based on two people sharing a twin/double room. Single room supplements and upgrades are not included.

Your Holiday Itinerary
Day One. We head for our overnight ferry to the continent, where we enjoy dinner, entertainment and breakfast on board.Day Two. We continue to Valkenburg to check into our hotel for our four night stay. Rest of the day is free to explore.
Day Three. A free day to enjoy Valkenburg – perhaps view the castle ruins and discover the Gemeentegrot Caverns – a fascinating underground world featuring wall paintings.
Day Four. A day in Cologne, a two thousand year old city straddling the River Rhine, and home to a magnificent cathedral housing the Shrine of the Three Kings, and the Museum Ludwig which displays masterpieces by Picasso.
Day Five. We journey to Liege for free time to explore this charming medieval city. After lunch, we board our boat for a scenic sail to Maastricht, where we experience the boat passing through the Ternaaien Lock where it negotiates a height difference of fifteen metres.
Day Six. We check out of our hotel and head for Brussels where you might like to relax in Grand Place. From here it’s onwards to our overnight ferry back to the UK enjoying dinner, entertainment and breakfast on board.
Day Seven. We make our way home after our three countries adventure.

Overnight Ferry to Continent
Your holiday moves up a gear when you board your overnight ferry for your sailing to the continent. Drop your overnight bag in your cabin then explore the ship or unwind with an aperitif in one of the bars.
On Board Dining
All GLENTON continental holidays include dinner and breakfast onboard. Head to buffet restaurant where your waiter will show you to your table and take your order if you wish to purchase any drinks. Then you’re free to help yourself from the wide selection of tasty dishes from around the world. At breakfast, choose from continental or a fully cooked menu. Alternatively if you fancy treating yourself, why not upgrade to the à la carte restaurant and enjoy fine dining with full waiter service?
Entertainment
Make your way to the show lounge and enjoy live entertainment throughout the evening – or take your place on the dance floor for a wee boogie! Perhaps you’d like to catch a blockbuster movie at the cinema or try your luck at the casino.
Cabins
Your GLENTON continental holiday includes an air conditioned inside en suite cabin with bunk beds. However, you can upgrade to a cabin with level beds and/or sea view for a small supplement. Please ask your holiday advisor when booking.
