Lying just off the Normandy coast, the Channel Islands are a unique part of the British Isles, and you can explore two of these idyllic holiday havens on this captivating escape. Quaint winding streets, a beautiful coastline and history at every turn will enchant you, and our familiarisation tours will get your sightseeing off to a great start. Our Jersey base is St Helier, a vibrant town with a fascinating blend of British, French and Portuguese influences. Its paved, pedestrianised centre is home to classy shops and Victorian street markets. Wander around one of the pretty parks, watch the comings and goings at the harbour or take advantage of the lower taxes with some retail therapy. Hop on the bus to Jersey Lavender and amble through the sweet-scented gardens. Or head to Jersey Zoo – Gerald Durrell’s animal sanctuary where you can see some of the planet’s most endangered species. On Guernsey, we stay in St Peter Port, with its hidden alleys, tiered gardens, tapestry of architectural treasures and unhurried way of life. Visit La Valette Underground Military Museum which covers all aspects of Guernsey’s history or see the award winning restored Victorian Candie Gardens.

Your Holiday Itinerary

Day One. We make our way to our dinner, bed and breakfast overnight hotel in England.
Day Two. After breakfast, we head to the Condor Fast Ferry Terminal for our sea crossing to Jersey as foot passengers. We are met by a local representative and transferred by coach to the outstanding Merton Hotel for our four night stay.
Day Three. A day at leisure to relax, explore and enjoy your hotel’s fantastic facilities.
Day Four. Look forward to an island familiarisation coach tour this morning, treating you to sights such as Corbiere Lighthouse, St Brelade’s Bay, La Rocque, Gorey Harbour and Greve de Lecq.
Day Five. Now you’ve got your bearings, enjoy a day to explore at your own pace. Jersey War Tunnels, Mont Orgueil Castle, Jersey Pearl and the island’s zoo are all top attractions. Perhaps catch the little land train that departs from Liberation Square to see the sights.
Day Six. We head to our ferry and cross to St Peter Port, Guernsey as foot passengers. We are met by a local representative and check in to the exceptional Les Rocquettes Hotel for three nights.
Day Seven. Look forward to a half day island tour with a local operator to get your bearings.
Day Eight. Relax or explore this beautiful island at your own pace. Perhaps download the VisitGuernsey app and follow the WWII Occupation Trails.
Day Nine. We head to our passenger ferry back to the UK mainland where we re-join our coach and travel to our dinner, bed and breakfast overnight hotel.
Day Ten. After breakfast, we journey home after a most memorable holiday.
