Your Holiday Itinerary

Day One. We travel to our overnight ferry to the continent, where we enjoy dinner, entertainment and breakfast on board.

Day Two. We make our way to our dinner, bed and breakfast overnight hotel.

Day Three. We continue to the Hotel Weisses Kreuz for our five night stay. Enjoy a welcome drink of Grub Gott and receive an information pack with a local map.

Day Four. Our outing today takes us through the Alpine valleys of the twisting and snaking Julier Pass to St Moritz. From here, it’s onwards over the Bernina Pass to Tirano in Italy where we board the famous Bernina-Express for an unforgettable ride through the mountainous scenery of the Albula Pass to Tiefencastel.

Day Five. Today we enjoy a guided tour of Feldkirch, the medieval city of the Counts of Montfort. Afterwards, continue exploring at your own pace. Perhaps browse for souvenirs at the pretty as a picture Marktgasse cobblestoned shopping street.

Day Six. Our day begins with a scenic drive passing the glassy lakes of Walen and Lucerne reaching Altdorf, the hometown of William Tell and where we learn about its famous, fabled son. Continuing to Andermatt, we board the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn and travel in panoramic carriages along the tracks of the Glacier Express, the most famous railway in the world, taking in incomparable vistas as we coast towards Chur.

Day Seven. Today we wind our way through stunning lake and mountain landscapes to the German city of Fussen. Here we are treated to a tour of Neuschwanstein castle – the Romanesque Revival palace that was the inspiration for Disneyland’s Sleeping Beauty Castle and has also appeared in movies such as Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and The Great Escape.

Day Eight. Look forward to receiving a wee souvenir of Austria from your hosts as we check out and make our way to our dinner, bed and breakfast overnight hotel.

Day Nine. We continue to our ferry back to the UK with dinner, entertainment and breakfast on board.

Day Ten. We journey home after our thrilling holiday.

Overnight Ferry to Continent

Your holiday moves up a gear when you board your overnight ferry for your sailing to the continent. Drop your overnight bag in your cabin then explore the ship or unwind with an aperitif in one of the bars.

On Board Dining

All GLENTON continental holidays include dinner and breakfast onboard. Head to buffet restaurant where your waiter will show you to your table and take your order if you wish to purchase any drinks. Then you’re free to help yourself from the wide selection of tasty dishes from around the world. At breakfast, choose from continental or a fully cooked menu. Alternatively if you fancy treating yourself, why not upgrade to the à la carte restaurant and enjoy fine dining with full waiter service?

Entertainment

Make your way to the show lounge and enjoy live entertainment throughout the evening – or take your place on the dance floor for a wee boogie! Perhaps you’d like to catch a blockbuster movie at the cinema or try your luck at the casino.

Cabins

Your GLENTON continental holiday includes an air conditioned inside en suite cabin with bunk beds. However, you can upgrade to a cabin with level beds and/or sea view for a small supplement. Please ask your holiday advisor when booking.
