First up is our tour of Sandringham, a superlative royal retreat and where we view the magnificent house, museum and gardens. Later, we pop in to Holt, one of the prettiest Georgian towns in the UK and a haven for artists and photographers with its elegant facades. Next day, our peaceful sail on the Norfolk Broads spoils us with beautiful scenery and an abundance of wildlife. For our final day out, we discover the gems of the cathedral city of Norwich, home to a hilltop Norman castle that was founded by William the Conqueror. This medieval fortification houses archaeological artefacts along with fine art, natural history and a collection of teapots!

Sandringham House & Holt
Standing proudly in acres of glorious grounds, Sandringham House has been the country retreat for four generations of British monarchs. Explore the main ground floor rooms of this nineteenth century house where the decor and contents are much as they were in Edwardian times. Outside the museum houses vintage Royal vehicles along with arts and crafts while the sumptuous gardens are a delight to explore. There is also a superb visitor centre housing a gift shop and café. After we’ve had our fill of finery, we stop by the divine little haven of Holt.
Wroxham & Norfolk Broads Cruise
We wind our way through the countryside to the riverside town of Wroxham where you’ll have some free time for a wander before we board our Broads cruiser for a peaceful cruise on this magical network of waterways.
A compact, easy to explore city with an enchanting jumble of medieval alleyways flanked by a collection of churches, shops and cafés. Along cobbled Elm Hill you’ll find eye-catching half-timbered Tudor dwellings, inviting antique shops and tearooms. Perhaps visit Plantation Garden and don’t miss the captivating cathedral
