Spectacular Austria, Salzburg, Innsbruck & Kitzbuhel
12 days
12 Day Select Holiday
This sightseeing holiday is based in Brandenberg, a picturesque little village set on an elevated plain in the Austrian state of Tyrol, amid chocolate box scenery. We make the most of our time with treats including a nostalgic trip on the Achensee Steam Cog Railway. The oldest of its kind in Europe, it has puffed its way up the mountain from Jenbach in the Inntal Valley to Lake Achensee since 1889. Afterwards, we enjoy a relaxing cruise on the shimmering lake. Other gems include a guided walking tour of Innsbruck, the lively capital of the Tyrol, and a day in Salzburg, forever associated with Mozart and The Sound of Music. Our final outing takes us to the landmark resort of Kitzbuhel – a medieval town with an alpine flower garden and a fourteenth century church, overlooked by the sky-scraping Hahnenkamm and Kitzbuheler Horn mountains.
PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person and based on two people sharing a twin/double room. Single room supplements and upgrades are not included.
