Select Humberside Highlights & The Yorkshire Coast
5 days
5 Day Select Holiday
This tempting holiday of contrasts is based in Kingston-Upon-Hull, Yorkshire’s only waterfront city. Hull is the onetime home of poet Philip Larkin and was designated UK City of Culture in 2017. It boasts a wealth of attractions such as the Streetlife Museum of Transport, the city’s top visitor attraction where you can hop on a tram or enjoy a carriage ride through a recreated 1930s street scene then view exhibits including a Hobby Horse bicycle dating from 1818. Hull’s Old Town features interesting buildings including the seventeenth century house where the slavery abolitionist William Wilberforce was born. The Old Town also boasts Georgian dwellings and Ye Olde Black Boy, one of the oldest pubs on the High Street. Elsewhere, step aboard Spurn Lightship to learn about Hull’s maritime past, view the iconic Humber Bridge or follow the Philip Larkin Trail through the heart of the city to Hull History Centre.
PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person and based on two people sharing a twin/double room. Single room supplements and upgrades are not included.
